The Fire Place is a family owned and operated nationally certified chimney sweep company with over 10 years of experience. Owners Tanner and Ashley believe that small town values, with big time training and certification is the best way to serve our customers. With nationally certified gas burning technicians through the National Fireplace Institute and nationally certified inspectors through FIRE, Fireplace Investigation, Research, and Education.
The Fire Place is home to some of the most knowledgeable people in the nation for inspecting, installing, servicing, selling, and repairing all hearth related products. Our team is trained and many worked with legendary Chimney Wizard, Bob Ferrari, previous owner of White Glove Chimney. Bob, now retired, has passed on his “chimney brush” and expertise to The Fire Place.

Tanner Pietrocci

Tan's the Man - at least that's what we think. Tanner brings that Italian fire to "The Fire Place" along with knowledge, experience, and love for the industry. He has been active in this industry since 2016 and believes there is always room for growth and learning. He is currently CSIA, NFI Gas, and FIRE certified.
Combined with that love of the industry, Tanner is driven by his love for his family. He and his wife, Ashley, share 3 boys: Liam, Vincent, and Nolan. They have been married for 10 years and have always just fit well with one another. Tanner has always prided himself on his work ethic and believes that the greatest impact he can have on his sons is through providing a positive example. He loves karaoke, embarrassing his wife and kids, and spending time in his beautiful home on the side of Mt Lassen.
Tanner is a straight shooter and believes that customers deserve accurate assessments of the safety and functionality of their systems. He'll never tell you that your system is ready for Santa unless he would trust that same system in his home with his kids.
Ashley Pietrocci

Not all "The Fire Place" staff could or should be on your roof. Not known for her balance, Ashley prefers to let the professionals handle the field work, while she keeps HQ in order. She graduated Simpson University a bachelor's in communications 2009 and has mostly worked in case management within the community up to this point.
Ashley loves her family who are the driving force behind all she does. Being the wife of Tanner Pietrocci and the mother of their three very active young boys keeps always moving forward.
Ashley and Tanner met working at KFC and have always made a wonderful team. They have been married for 10 years and really enjoy each other's company now more than ever. Ashley loves kayaking, baking and decorating cakes, and spending time in her beautiful yard up in Shingletown. She loves being a part of "The Fire Place" team because it allows her to support her family while helping our customers stay comfortable and safe in their homes.
Leo Angheluta

The Fire Place is so happy to introduce our newest team member, Leo! Leo is dedicated to serving others. After high school he joined the Marine Corp and served our country for five years with multiple deployments. Instilled with the Marine Corp moto of “Honor, Courage, and Commitment” which Leo keeps with him in every aspect of his life. After serving in the Marine Corp he went to get a degree in Human And Behavioral Science. Everything Leo has experienced has given him unique tools, which he uses better serve our community.
Leo has been in the chimney service industry since 2020 and is a fully certified technician. In the time he has been part of the CSIA (Chimney Service Institute of America, not the other guys) he has performed the duties of a chimney sweep, fireplace installer, sales rep, trainer, and even a manager. If you ever have a question about your fireplace, he is always happy to help. He has worked under Tanner and Phil in the past on everything from service to instillations and has taken a great amount of knowledge from their teachings. Leo is excited to be working with The Fireplace Team in the industry he knows and loves. On a more personal note, Leo loves big trucks and fast cars! On his down time, you can find him at the park, in swimming holes, or out with friends. When he is not out and about he enjoys catching up on TV shows and playing computer games.
Anthony Quintana

Smart, funny, and athletic? Some people just check all the boxes! That’s how we feel about our newest team member, Anthony Quintana. He comes to us new to the profession, but learning fast. Anthony enjoys working with his hands, but also using his brain, which is what interested him in this line of work in the first place. He is originally from the Reno area but has lived in Shingletown most of his life. He has a son named Sawyer who he spends most of his free time hiking, playing video games, and basketball with. Being a father is Anthony’s number one job, and he enjoys it immensely.
Anthony is fueled by his desire to learn and grow in a long-lasting career and, of course, to support his family. He is grateful for the opportunity to learn this craft and is currently studying to become a certified technician so he can best service our customers and this community. You will always find him working hard with one of the senior technicians or with his head in one of our many manuals and books gathering knowledge and becoming the best at what he does.
Our team has already seen significant growth and success with Anthony joining us. We look forward to seeing the amazing things he accomplishes both professionally and personally.

Meet Lexy, the heartwarming voice of The Fire Place, where she has been the beacon of hospitality and service for nearly half a year. As a Call Service Representative, she’s the first ember of warmth that greets customers, ensuring their inquiries and needs are addressed with the utmost care. Lexy’s days are filled with the harmonious blend of her passions: singing tunes reminiscent of the crackling hearth, dancing with the freedom of flames in the wind, and running through the open fields like smoke rising into the sky. Her family is the fire that fuels her joy, the core of her radiant happiness. Her charming partner is crime, Tim, fans the flames of love, while her two wonderful boys Joey and Mason bring warmth and joy to her heart. When she’s not brightening the day of callers with her melodious voice, she’s basking in the great outdoors, akin to the fresh air that breathes life into the fire. An interesting tidbit? Lexy’s singing not only echoes through the chimney but also warms the hearts of all who hear her, making every interaction at The Fire Place glow a little brighter.

Meet Tyler, one of our talented technicians here at The Fireplace! His first day on the job, way back at White Glove with Bob Ferrari, was a 12-hour chimney marathon… and somehow, he didn’t run for the hills. Instead, he fell in love with the craft and has been sweeping ever since. With 8 years of experience in the home improvement industry, Tyler brings care, precision, and a whole lot of soot know-how to every job.
When he's not climbing rooftops, you’ll find him hiking with his two rescue dogs or playing Magic: The Gathering. He also loves reading with his wife (and high school sweetheart!) Angela. If you have ever met Tyler, you know he is possibly the worlds nicest guy! We feel blessed to have him on our team.

Or as we like to call him Tony That Tiger! Tony here is a guy who likes to make people feel comfortable and cared for. For this reason, (and maybe his fear of heights) he has been serving you as one of our amazing call service representatives for almost 2 years! Tony is also very mechanically minded, he loves tinkering with cars, playing video games, and hanging with his family and friends. Tony loves being helpful, and really enjoys learning new things. Having Tony That Tiger on the team isn’t just awesome, its GRRRREAT!
